Steampunk magazine, issue #5

okay, not really relevant so much to Colorado steampunk, but…
Huzzah! They’ve finally released #5.

Some people said it would never happen, for a moment in there some of us even thought it would never happen, but now, over a year since the release of our last issue, it brings me immense pleasure to announce that the fifth issue of SteamPunk Magazine is now available! Featuring everything from emergency welding to a very special guest essay by Bruce Sterling, it is available for download on our downloads page, and can also be purchased, as ever, through Strangers in a Tangled Wilderness.
Good hunting!
hooray!
i print these out and hand-bind them. this time, since i’m so happy they haven’t quit on us, and since i have a lot of scrap leather i mean to do something with, i think i’ll bind with card covers and a leather/brass brads spine binding, so i’ll put some pics up when i’m done with that. you can make your own, though: just go to their download page, download the imposed version, and print with the facility of your selection. or, if you bookbind the way i do, use whatever version suits your style best.
yay!
Hello! I oversee a small art gallery in the student union at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I’ve been kicking around the idea of doing a Steampunk art show and found your group via google search. Can you point me in a direction to search out Denver metro area steampunk artists, particularly working in 2D and smaller 3D pieces?
