New Info About Mardi Gras PArade.
The parade starts at Memorial Park…the one in Manitou, not the Springs. It’s on the main road coming into the town and is on the right hand side. There is a Steam Engine at the entrance. The Parade officially starts after the Gumbo Cook-off, so sometime between 12 and 1 (last year it started at 11-that’s why I was confused) The Parade ends at Soda Springs Park. No vehicles allowed in the parade. The weather should be sunny and clear with high of 47 degrees.
From 1-25, take the hwy 24 exit and head west. When you get to the Manitou exit, take that and curve around to join up with Colorado Ave/Manitou Ave. keep heading west until you see Memorial Park.
I will be there around 11 with the banner.
